Objective
My goal was to create a playful brand identity for Moja, a fictional Bengali street food restaurant, that celebrates Bangladeshi culture through typography, color, and physical menu design.
The Challenge
I wanted to capture the energy and personality of Bengali street food while making the brand feel welcoming and approachable. The challenge was translating those qualities into a cohesive visual identity and a functional, unconventional menu.
The Solution & Process
I explored English and Bengali lettering through hand-drawn sketches before developing the final logo and visual identity. I experimented with color, typography, and menu layouts, eventually creating a physical folding menu that brings the playful brand concept to life.

Wordmark Exploration
I began by sketching different English and Bengali letterforms, experimenting with shapes and typography to create a playful identity inspired by Bengali street food.

I started by exploring different letterforms, taking inspiration from Bengali typography. I experimented with curves, shapes, and playful lettering styles to see how I could bring those elements into the Moja wordmark.
Digital Refinements
I brought my sketches into Illustrator and started refining the letterforms. I wanted to give the wordmark a more modern, polished look while keeping the playful shapes and details inspired by Bengali typography.

Once I finalized the wordmark, I started building the rest of Moja’s visual identity. I focused on bold colors, playful typography, and simple graphic elements to create a fun, welcoming brand inspired by Bengali street food.

Since Puchka, a popular Bengali street food made of crispy, hollow shells filled with potatoes, spices, and tangy water, is a big part of Bengali food culture, I wanted to incorporate its round shape into my menu design.
